Published Oct 31, 2011Once again, Monday has rolled around, so if you're looking for some new music to get your week off right, head over to our Click Hear section to see what's up for grabs. Here are just a few of the highlights.
First up is the new album We're All Dying to Live from Halifax songwriter Rich Aucoin. Featuring over 500 guest musicians and 22 brand new songs, Aucoin somehow makes the overwhelming project work. Stream the album, and check it out for yourself.
Elsewhere, Gonjasufi is offering a new four-track EP as a free download. It's entitled The Ninth Inning EP, and he's also released a psychedelic new video for the EP's title track. And Vancouver garage rock duo the Pack A.D. have released a video for "Haunt You," from their latest album Unpersons. Eerie effects make this clip perfect viewing for this Halloween day.
Carrying on, Florence and the Machine's highly anticipated sophomore record Ceremonials isn't out until November 15, but you can stream the whole thing now at Exclaim.ca, while Chad VanGaalen can't seem to stop popping out new releases. With eight recently released records put out as limited-edition cassettes, the Calgary eccentric has shared a sampler from his Cassette Tape Series.
And finally, Toronto's the Darcys just put out their first recording on Arts & Crafts: a self-titled album that they're giving away in exchange for an email address.
