First up, Toronto-based synth-pop outfit Austra have moved away from the gothed-out witch house that made their 2011 debut such a hit in favour of a more "bubbly and buoyant" sound. Find out if the stylistic change paid off by listening to their new sophomore LP, Olympia, in its entirety before tomorrow's release date (June 18).
Party punks the BCASA have finally turned your childhood dreams into a reality with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-inspired rap-rock hybrid titled Fuck You Shredder, due out June 18, while East Coast supergroup the Certain Someones celebrate Murderecords' 21st anniversary with new track "Sad Salvation," which saw its official release this past Friday (June 14).
Next, listen to Big Huge Truck, the new LP from Canadian weirdo rap duo Gregory Pepper & MadadaM, but if that doesn't suit your style, you can also stream J. Cole's collab-heavy new album Born Sinner in full. Both are available ahead of their release on June 18.
And finally, it seems like Toronto blues duo Catl.'s indefinite hiatus has come to a close. Watch the band's tour-documenting music video for "Gotta Thing for You" from last year's Soon This Will Be Gone LP.
