Those expecting more of the Gaslight Anthem's punk-inflected pop songs might be taken by surprise, as the song's an alt-rock jam through and through. Opening with muddy guitars and bizarre, effects-laden vocals, it kicks off as an aggro post-grunge stomper before cutting to a gentle chorus that shares more in common with the National.
