Gang Gang Dance Hit the North American Road, Play Vancouver

Despite there still being no full-length follow-up to last year's massively praised Saint Dymphna, art rock tribalists Gang Gang Dance have announced they're taking a road trip. Come August, the N.Y. outfit will bring their always-insane live show to a handful of U.S. cities, as well as to Vancouver on September 4.

As previously reported, late last year Gang Gang Dance were toying with the idea of what they called "a concept record without a concept." At the time, the band's Brian Degraw said, "We are recording what will most likely be a double album in January... in the desert. A concept record without a concept... Dunno when the new record will surface... probably in summer, I would imagine."

Well, it's officially summer now, but no sign of any new double album. However, a chunk of new tour dates is still good news nonetheless.
