Published Dec 14, 2010Games is the collaboration of Oneohtrix Point Never's Daniel Lopatin and Tigercity's Joel Ford, and if you haven't noticed yet, it's one of our favourite modern electronic projects going. In 2010, the duo released their undeniably excellent EP That We Can Play, and now we're treated with a bizarre music video for the release's standout track "Strawberry Skies."
The clip was directed by Josef Kraska and plays out exactly how we would expect based on the sound of the track. Part Tim and Eric sketch and part late-night phone-sex ad, the clip layers '80s visual cues without resorting to cheap joking, resulting in a complete visual homage to the lost pop culture that Games are exploring musically.
