The song begins with the Game rapping about his hometown over a warmly cinematic beat with soulful, wordless vocal samples. A minute and a half in, the beat breaks down and Drake enters with rhymes that are characteristically mellow and introspective, as he condemns "that fake shit" and reflects that he would have more friends if he weren't so successful.
