A couple of Montreal pop acts have teamed up, as synth-y combo Galaxius Mons have released a new single with vocals from Jef Barbara.
"Controller Down" is a perky synth-funk number. It's got clean, choppy guitar strums, which shimmy alongside MIDI-sounding programming and are blasted through with brass. Over top of it all, Barbara sings catchy, deadpan pop melodies.
