GØGGS

"Glendale Junkyard"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished May 3, 2016

As previously reported, Ty Segall and the rest of GØGGS have put together a self-titled debut, which is due to drop in the summer. Ahead of the full release, the trio are streaming a filthy, nasty garage rock rage-out by the name of "Glendale Junkyard."

Thicker than engine sludge, the song is smothered in serious fuzz. A press release had noted that Segall and drummer Charles Moothart "trade lizardian licks and skin hits," and this sinister, reptilian freak-out underscores vocalist Chris Shaw's grimy cries about all that's going down at the Cali dump in question.

You can stream the song below, while the band's debut full-length fires out of the trash heap and into your home on July 1 through In the Red.
