Fyre Fest Documentary Hero Andy King Is Going on Tour

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Mar 11, 2020

Perhaps the greatest takeaway from the barrage of Fyre Festival documentaries last year is that Andy King was willing to dole out blowjobs to get drinking water through customs and to the festival site. Now, that very man has announced plans to go on tour.

The talking head from FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened will be taking his unique brand of expertise around the U.K. next month on a jaunt dubbed "A Fyre-Side Chat with Andy King."

The shows will consist of an hour-long talk by King, in which he discusses the massive festival failure, as well as his unlikely viral meme fame. He also talks about using his newfound platform "for good by launching an initiative to support production sustainability."

It will be followed by a 30-minute Q&A with the audience.

So far, the only shows announced are in the U.K. See the full itinerary here.

We can only hope the travelling talk show is more successful than the festival that inspired King's fame in the first place.

Since the Netflix documentary came out, King has also become a spokesperson for water company Evian.
