After two well-received albums that involved two North American record deals, the Futureheads found themselves labelless when they wrapped up promotion for 2006's News And Tributes.
Instead of packing it in or fumbling for a new home, the spritely foursome from Sunderland, England just built one on their own called Nul Recordings.
The band have now announced May 27 as the North American release date (one day after the UK release) for This Is Not The World, which was recorded over three weeks in Spain last summer with legendary producer Youth (Primal Scream, The Verve, Chinese Democracy - no, really!).
