Future Reveals Plans for New Album 'Life Is Good'

Early this year, Future and Drake gave us their track "Life Is Good," and Future has now confirmed the song will serve as the title track on his new album.

Speaking to XXL, Future revealed his next full-length effort will be called Life Is Good, making for his proper solo follow-up to 2019's The WIZRD.

"It's about life and being good and just enjoying life," Future explained. "So many tragedies and catastrophes and everything is going on in the world. And you want to enjoy life, as long as you have it. Waking up, breathing, well, you want to be able to soak it all up and be appreciative for every moment on this earth, every moment that you're living."

Future also went on to say Life Is Good goes far beyond just being an album title for him, with the whole thing also being his current state of mind.

"Life Is Good is where I am at. Mentally, life is good, it's just a state of mind. It's just about being, whatever is going on good or bad, life is good, but life is precious," he said. "You only get one life, so you want to just make the most of it. Instead of complaining about certain things that you want to be, you know, you want everything to be perfect, but that's not the situation so I want to make good for what I have going on. With me, I want to send a positive message through hard times for me or anyone else."

As previously reported, it was thought that Life Is Good would be a collaborative follow-up for Drake and Future's 2015 mixtape What a Time to Be Alive. Now, though, it definitely seems to just be Future solo project, though one with Drake onboard.

So far, there is no word on when exactly we'll get Life Is Good, so stay tuned.

Most recently, Future released his new single "Tycoon" just the other week.
