Future Reveals 'DS2' Release Date, Artwork

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jul 10, 2015

Having first teased the release of Dirty Sprite 2 back in March, Future has now revealed he'll spray us with his latest set next week. The release, now dubbed DS2, drops as a digital download July 17 via Epic/Sony Music.

Earlier this evening (July 9), the AutoTuned Atlanta rap vet went onto his Instagram account to reveal the cover art. As you can see up above, the image showcases a sudsy swirl of turquoise and lavender tones, an allusion to Future's favourite cough syrup-spiked soda drink.

An iTunes listing has since popped up, confirming that DS2 will feature 18 tracks in total. While the full details have yet to arrive, the collection includes Future's massive "Fuck Up Some Commas" single, as well as "Blow a Bag" and "Real Sisters."

A trailer for the project was also revealed this evening, and acts as cross-promotion for an upcoming documentary called Like I Never Left. You'll find the quick clip, which has Future discussing the kind of artist he aspires to be, down below.

As previously reported, DS2 follows Future's 2011 mixtape, Dirty Sprite.

Earlier this year, Future had also discussed plans for a team-up tape with producer Mike WiLL Made It called Ape Shit, but an ETA on that release has yet to be confirmed.

UPDATE: You can hear the new track "Blow a Bag" at the bottom of the page.
