Future of the Left Plot New Album for Summer Release
Post-McLusky rockers Future of the Left have announced plans to record their next album via a post on their MySpace blog. The band, who released their debut album Curses one year ago to the week, also released a live album last fall.

In the blog post, guitarist Andy Falkous revealed that the band will be entering the studio this February, and that album is "faster, bigger, grander, three per cent less nasty, 14 per cent more energized, constructed from hard work and the happiest, most inspired band that I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of."

Falkous also revealed some of the album's bizarre song titles, including "You Need Satan More Than He Needs You," "Arming Eritrea," "Land of My Formers," "A Rocket for Richard Roma," and "The Knife That is Not a Knife." The album should hopefully be out by June on 4AD.
