Baltimore synth-pop masters Future Islands have been relatively quiet since the release of their 2011 effort On the Water. Now, however, they've finally announced a follow-up.
The album is called Singles and was produced by Chris Coady (Grizzly Bear, Beach House). It'll be released on March 25 via 4AD.
For now, that's all we know about the release. However, you may be able to ask them for more details in person, as Future Islands have booked a hefty world tour with stops in Europe, America (including Coachella) and one Canadian show. They'll play Vancouver's Rickshaw Theatre on April 4.
