Published Feb 06, 2014Future's bringing out the big guns to help promote his much-delayed Honest LP, having just premiered his product-pushing "Move That Dope" track with Pharrell and Pusha T.
King Push starts the song off with a shout-out to real dope dealers and a maniacal chuckle before a menacing, minimalist Mike WiLL Made It beat ushers in '80s breaks, a sinister two-note synth melody and an intent-flipping take on Salt-n-Pepa's "Push It" hook. Via a triplet-heavy verse, Future weighs in on moving coke off the boat, riding around in Maseratis and detailing the business of keys. Pusha T notes he's old enough to know better than to get mixed up in the hustle, but "who don't want to sell dope forever?"
Skateboard P is caught wearing a Gandalf hat while doing naked yoga with a bunch of girls, while Casino drops some animated bars about making money off that cocaine. If anything, the theme's consistent.
