Future

"Move That Dope" (ft. Pharrell Williams, Pusha T, Casino)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Feb 6, 2014

Future's bringing out the big guns to help promote his much-delayed Honest LP, having just premiered his product-pushing "Move That Dope" track with Pharrell and Pusha T.

King Push starts the song off with a shout-out to real dope dealers and a maniacal chuckle before a menacing, minimalist Mike WiLL Made It beat ushers in '80s breaks, a sinister two-note synth melody and an intent-flipping take on Salt-n-Pepa's "Push It" hook. Via a triplet-heavy verse, Future weighs in on moving coke off the boat, riding around in Maseratis and detailing the business of keys. Pusha T notes he's old enough to know better than to get mixed up in the hustle, but "who don't want to sell dope forever?"

Skateboard P is caught wearing a Gandalf hat while doing naked yoga with a bunch of girls, while Casino drops some animated bars about making money off that cocaine. If anything, the theme's consistent.

You can stream the song down below. Future has yet to fit Honest with a solid due date.
