Published Feb 04, 2011New York DJ and hip-hop personality Funkmaster Flex has had no shortage of controversy recently, beginning with the anti-Tupac video that surfaced in November (see below). Now, things are exponentially worse for Flex as he's been accused of assaulting a New York woman.
According to TMZ [via AllHipHop], a 40-year-old woman in Westchester, NY called police to complain that Flex had pushed her, tried to break her phone and sent her threatening messages. When police arrived at the scene, Flex was nowhere to be found, but the woman insisted that the altercation had taken place.
Flex was found a few hours later and police arrested him earlier today (February 4) on charges of harassment, aggravated harassment and criminal mischief. He was released on $500 bail but has been ordered to stay away from the women. A hearing has been scheduled for later this month.
