Full of Hell Team Up with Merzbow for Collaborative Release

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 3, 2014

Coming off a recent Record Store Day split with sonic terrorist Psywarfare, U.S. hardcore outfit Full of Hell have announced they'll next be presenting a full-on collaboration with prolific Japanese noise artist Merzbow.

Few details have been given behind the team-up, but a press release confirms that Full of Hell will be hitting an as-yet-unspecified recording studio with the veteran "lord of noise/electronics" (real name Masami Akita) for a likewise as-yet-untitled release. The record will, however, be delivered at a later date on vinyl via A389 Recordings and on CD and digitally through Profound Lore, with a European edition being handles by Stab/Repeat.

In other news, Full of Hell started their European tour behind 2013's Rudiments of Mutilation LP today (June 3) out in Iceland. The overseas trip wraps in early July and will be followed up by a quick tour of the U.S. West Coast with Rhode Island powerviolence greats Drop Dead in August. You'll find the show specifics for both tours over here.

UPDATE: The album is due out on double CD on November 25.
