Fucked Up Print 11 Different Versions of New Single in Honour of U.S. Record Stores
Did you know that Fucked Up have never officially celebrated Record Store Day? Besides several members having insanely vast record collections themselves, the band put the things out at such a rapid rate that you'd think they would have been onboard from the get-go. Well, the group are finally celebrating the occasion, as the Toronto, ON hardcore outfit are releasing a seven-inch collecting three songs from the band's Daytrotter sessions.

Both "David Comes to Life" and "Magic Word," from the band's recent singles compilation, Couple Tracks, will be included on the seven-inch, as will the Daytrotter take on "Crooked Head."

In the spirit of celebrating good record stores, Fucked Up are pressing the single with 11 different covers: one generic, the other ten each featuring a photo sent in by different U.S. record stores. According to one of the band's recent blog posts, "We decided to use our 7" as a tribute to a bunch of cool stores in the U.S... have fun trying to find them all."

All ten photos can be seen here at the band's blog, along with the full post explaining the single.

Record Store Day will take place on April 17.
