Fucked Up Announce Second Year of "Long Winter" Concert Series

BY Josiah HughesPublished Oct 15, 2013

Last year, hardcore faves Fucked Up got multidisciplinary with their ongoing "Long Winter" concert series, which saw musicians, artists, cooks, filmmakers and other performers gather to showcase their work at the Great Hall in Toronto. Well, it looks as if you can get ready for the event to return in the coming months.

The band have just announced the first edition of the second year of "Long Winter," which will kick off at the Great Hall on November 8.

Musically, the show will feature performances from King Cobb Steelie, Bidiniband, Ell V Gore, Ketamines, Doomsquad, Lido Pimienta, Esther Grey, Cellphone and Wake Island.

In keeping with the project's M.O., the event will reach far beyond just music, with Henri Faberge's Fountain of Mouth, a video installation from Andrew Stewart, a "slow motion dance party" from Ben Kamino, a talk from Guillaume Morissette, an arcade curated by Dames Making Games and much more.

Like all of their previous events, this edition of "Long Winter" will be all ages and priced with a pay-what-you-can model.

More information on the event is available here.
