When they're not arguing with each other via blogs, Fucked Up are seemingly always on tour. While new tour dates from Fucked Up always make for exciting news, it's getting to the point where they're almost expected. Nonetheless, fans of the band can brace themselves for their return to western Canada this April.
First, the band will complete a UK tour with the Bronx and Rolo Tamassi that will take them from the end of February through the start of March. Then they're taking a little time off before resuming their tour in Detroit at the start of April. Then it's over to Detroit, where they'll kick off a North American tour that will include Canadian stops in Winnipeg, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.
The band have also revealed that they'll be releasing a singles compilation on Matador this fall as a sort of sequel to their early singles comp Epics In Minutes. The band jokingly refer to it as Long Boring Songs that go Nowhere, and you Can't Understand the Lyrics, In Hours.
If you're thinking this news is a little too ordinary for Fucked Up, keep in mind that they've also just released a pair of "No Epiphany" Nikes to coincide with the release of their new "No Epiphany" single. According to their Looking For Gold blog, the shoes are currently only available in size 13, and information for ordering the sneakers is still forthcoming.
