Fucked Up frontman and host of MuchMusic's The Wedge Damian Abraham has just been announced as --wait for it -- a cruise director! But that hasn't slowed down the band, who have just revealed a new split seven-inch, as well as a holiday video.
Clearly a man of all talents, Abraham will be playing host at the second annual Bruise Cruise music festival. The festivities will be taking place from February 10 to 13, as the boat sails from Miami to the Bahamas. Musical performances will take place both on land and shore from acts like Abraham's Fucked Up, King Khan & the Shrines, the Dirtbombs, Thee Oh Sees and tons more.
Getting into the winter season, the band are also pressing their track "I Hate Summer" on a split seven-inch with fellow Bruise Cruise act the Dirtbombs. It will be released on the festival's record label, Bruise Cruise Records, but by the sounds of things, to get a real copy, you may have to attend the cruise, which will be giving out the split to attendees. Luckily, you can also stream it below.
