Noisy Toronto unit Fresh Snow seamlessly blend multiple genres into a tight, singular sound, which they had the opportunity to showcase live at this year's Wavelength Music Festival.
Exclaim! TV attended the group's hometown set at The Garrison on February 15, where we captured a performance of their 2014 single "Blood In The Sun."
In the gloomy, atmospheric intro, the band layer rumbling synths with feedback and eerie, floating e-bow leads. They then switch pace and drop into a fuzzy, energetic post-punk riff that the band build upon with even more layers of guitar, keeping up their lively pace throughout.
