Shivering Songs is set to bring a host of internationally renowned artists to Fredericton, NB, this January, and organizers have lifted the curtain on the initial lineup for the festival's eighth edition.

Running from January 18 to 21, the festival will feature Bahamas, David Myles, Catherine MacLellan, Sandro Perri, Hillsburn and festival founders the Olympic Symphonium.

"We jumped at the opportunity to grow and include a Tuesday album release show with Bahamas, one of the most in-demand acts in the country," Shivering Songs co-organizer Zach Atkinson said in a statement. "We're so thrilled to present them at the Festival alongside David Myles, Catherine MacLellan, Sandro Perri, and so many other voices of this next generation of the Canadian songwriting tradition."

Passes for the 2018 edition of Shivering Songs are currently on sale, while individual tickets will go on sale November 3. For each ticket or pass sold, $1 will be donated to the United Way of Central New Brunswick.

Pre-festival shows featuring Lido Pimienta, Mo Kenney, Rich Aucoin, the Weather Station, Bernice and more have also been announced for the month of December. Further ticketing and festival details can be found through Shivering Songs' official website.
