Frankie & Jimmy are Hamilton's top (and possibly only) purveyors of "sliding Delta demento blues," and they're ready to unveil a new video for the track "Shake Your Hips" — which you can see first right here at Exclaim!
The tune is a previously unreleased one, but will make its way onto a 7-inch single in the near future. Following up the band's 12-inch "Scream the Blues," the duo are looking to release a trio of 7-inches — "The Dirty 7," "The Spooky 7" and "The Pretty 7" — that reflect the different styles they play. "Shake Your Hips" is slated to appear on the former, which is currently in the mixing stages. Plans are even in the works to release some special homemade hot sauces in conjunction with the forthcoming singles.
For now, though, you can spice up your workday with the new visuals. The clip documents a day in the life of the bluesy duo — though Frankie seems to have all the luck on his side, while Jimmy gets a soccer ball to the face, prize-less vending machine prizes and more burrito filling on his shirt than in his mouth.
