Frankie Cosmos Announces 'Fit Me In' EP

BY Alex HudsonPublished Sep 23, 2015

Indie pop player Frankie Cosmos had a insanely prolific early career, but her 2015 has been comparatively low-key and her Bandcamp page hasn't been updated in more than a year. Now, the musician also known as Greta Kline is preparing to end the dry spell with an EP called Fit Me In.

The EP will be out on November 13 through Bayonet Records, and it consists of four songs. The sensitive, DIY-sounding 49-second pop ditty "Sand" can be heard at the bottom of this page [via Pitchfork].

Kline said about the song, "I wrote it in the beginning of this spring, while getting excited about just being able to be outside longer and spend time in NYC, and coming up with date ideas (like touching all the books on the racks outside the Strand)."

In addition to releasing the EP, Frankie Cosmos will spend November touring in North America. The busy two-week trek includes a string of U.S. dates, plus stops in Montreal and Toronto. See the schedule below.

Cosmos released her last proper album, Zentropy, in March 2014, although she released a couple of Bandcamp collections soon after.
