Despite making the rounds on a "farewell tour" back in 2015, Foxygen revealed a new single titled "America" last month. Now, the band have revealed that a full LP will follow in the new year.
Titled Hang, the album is due out on January 20 through Jagjaguwar. It marks the band's first album since 2014's …And Star Power.
The duo of Sam France and Jonathan Rado worked with a 40-plus-piece symphony orchestra on the new set of songs, conducted by Trey Pollard and complemented with additional arranging by Matthew E. White. The Lemon Twigs' Brian and Michael D'Addario and the Flaming Lips' Steven Drozd also appear throughout the record.
