Before crafting exploratory "folktronica" and high-level house as Four Tet, Kieran Hebden played guitar as one third of Fridge, the post-rock outfit formed with school friends Adem Ilhan and Sam Jeffers. Now, the band are set to reissue fourth album Happiness in celebration of its 20th anniversary.

Widely regarded as Fridge's best album, Happiness has been "restored, reconstructed, and remastered" by Hebden for its rerelease, per a press release. The reissue arrives May 26 via Temporary Residence Ltd.

Happiness is characterized by the label as "an innovative mix of acoustic clatter, electronic exploration, hip-hop production techniques, and experimental rock arrangements," which you can hear below with the remastered version of "Five Four Child Voice."

Fridge's most recent album remains 2007's The Sun. In 2009, the band shared compilation Early Output 1996–1998 via Temporary Residence.
