This year, winter will end with a bang for Toronto electronic music fans, as the city's Foundry concert series will return for a second year and mark the transition into spring with a few weeks of shows.
In total, there will be six shows spread across three weekends, all taking place at Toronto's Tower Automotive Building.
The first weekend (March 14-15) will include Four Tet, Shigeto, Anthony "Shake" Shakir, Gingy and DJ Colin, plus DJ sets from Purity Ring, Blue Hawaii and Katie Stelmanis of Austra. The second weekend (March 21-22) will bring Efdemin, Cosmin TRG, DJ Harvey, Invisible City, Nautiluss and Martin Fazekas. The final weekend (April 4-5) includes Shed, Skudge, Carl Craig, David Patterson, Kevin McPhee, Michael Krochak, Hali, Jamie Kidd, Mike Gibbs and Fabio Palermo.
Early bird passes for the full series cost $89.50, while standard advance passes will set you back $99.50. Tickets for different weekends or individual nights are also available here. Get the full schedule and more information about Foundry here.
Watch a brief trailer for the event below. An announcement reads, "This year we transform one of Toronto's most historic and unique industrial spaces — the Tower Automotive Building — from raw concrete factory floor to a platform for several of the world's most influential DJs/producers, in conjunction with interactive installations by local visual artists."
