Formerly known as Isobel Trigger, Victoria pop-rock outfit Fortune Killers are moving their sound and image in a new direction as the year comes to a close. With a debut full-length on the horizon, you can get an idea of what to expect with a video for "Fool's Gold," the first song to come from the band under their new moniker.

Directed, shot and edited by Trevor Bennett, the video follows the romantic desires of a female character who has lovers of three different genders, cast to reflect the real-life identities of all three band members. A press release reveals that the upbeat track is "inspired by the chase — a passionate desire for something (or someone) that is perpetually ahead yet tantalizingly close to our grasp."

"Fool's Gold" stands as the first single from Fortune Killers' debut full-length, which is expected to arrive in the spring of next year and is being produced by Howard Reddekopp (Dear Rouge, Tegan and Sara).
