BY Alex HudsonPublished Sep 16, 2015

Newfoundland folk duo Fortunate Ones just got nominated for three Canadian Folk Music Awards, and having got that extra boost in prominence, they're preparing to spend the fall touring in their home and native land.

The schedule runs for close to two months and stretches from coast-to-coast. All told, they have 18 shows, including stops in Newfoundland, Ontario, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. See the schedule below.

In addition to playing these live dates, the band will be travelling to Toronto for a mentorship week in late October, as they are one of the three finalists in the Allan Slaight Juno Master Class.
