Former Jurassic 5 Member Chali 2na's Album Finally Set to Drop

Deep-voiced Jurassic 5 co-founder Chali 2na has announced that he'll finally be releasing a solo album titled Fish Out Of Water. The album, which has had its release date moved around a whole bunch, is tentatively scheduled for a summer 2009 release, and will feature 13 tracks.

Besides boasting production from big names like Scott Storch, Jake One and former collaborator Cut Chemist, the album will also include guest spots from the likes of Talib Kweli, Damian and Stephen Marley, Elzhi, Beenie Man and Anthony Hamilton. Two songs from the album, "Comin' Thru" and "So Crazy Lock Shit Down," are now streaming at 2na's Myspace page.

Fish Out Of Water will mark the first new album from 2na since Jurassic 5 called in quits in late 2007.
