Former Clipse Manager Gets 32 Years in Prison for Running Virginia Drug Ring

Last spring, former Clipse manager Anthony "Geezy" Gonzalez was arrested for spearheading a massive cocaine, heroin and marijuana operation in Virginia Beach, VA. The multimillion dollar operation was mainly run through his nightclub, the Encore Lounge, though much of the money was laundered through his music industry ventures as well.

According to a report from Hip Hop Wired, Gonzalez has now been sentenced to 32 years in prison for his crimes. This sentence is based on the enormous amount of drugs connected to the case, which includes a ton of marijuana, a half-ton of cocaine and a hundred pounds of heroin. Because of Gonzalez's cooperation, he was given the minimum prison sentence available. There's also a chance he could get off sooner with good behaviour.

"I just want to say that I'm sorry to my family and I'm sorry to the community," Gonzalez told U.S. District Judge Jerome B. Friedman.

Clipse's fourth album, Til the Casket Drops, was released last month.
