As we previously told you, former Be Your Own Pet front-woman Jemina Pearl has written and recorded her solo debut, which is said to include some pretty big-name collaborators. Now, though, the album has been fully detailed, and, yes, her track with Iggy Pop has been confirmed.

Titled Break It Up, the record is due out on October 6 from BYOP's old home of Ecstatic Peace. The record features 13 tracks that, according to a press release, showcase a new side of Pearl as "her defiant snear is now complemented with pop melodies that make it clear hers is a voice to be reckoned with."

The song "I Hate People," which features Iggy Pop, is currently streaming on Pearl's MySpace page, and Pearl's previously mentioned collaborations with TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek and Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore will also make an appearance on the record.

Following the release of Break It Up, she'll hit up North America with a lengthy autumn tour alongside Montreal pop collective Islands and, as previously reported, will include one Canadian stop in Vancouver on October 20.
