Form of Rocket

Men

BY Jasamine White-GluzPublished Feb 19, 2007

Form of Rocket create a wall of dissonant, math-y post-hardcore with vocal sassiness reminiscent of At the Drive-In and the Blood Brothers. Men is a surprisingly strong release, from the momentous "Keep Smiling, Ed Smart” and its sing-along vocals to the fantastic noise created on "The Greatest Day.” The ghosts of Shellac and Fugazi loom in the guitar treble, making Men a worthy listen for both noise and post-hardcore fans.
