Forest Moon "Peaceful Ghosts" (video)
Ontario-based composer Tom Meikle creates experimental folk music under the moniker Forest Moon, and Exclaim! has got the exclusive premiere of his brand new video.

"Peaceful Ghosts" is a gentle number that blends melancholic acoustic fingerpicking with wistful, ethereal vocals. The accompanying video was directed by Kyle Marchen, produced and edited by Van Wickiam, and shot in Milton, ON. It follows a young male protagonist over the course of the day, staring longingly into the distance from his bed, then staircase, then personal library before he moves on to the monotony of daily tasks.

Alone and unhappy, he's captured on film. "The video features intimate moments with a man in turmoil," Wickiam explains. "Through abstract imagery, we see the push and pull of a visceral struggle to overcome and move outwards."

Watch the young man struggle to overcome his personal challenges in the heartwarming clip for "Peaceful Ghosts" below.

The track appears on Forest Moon's latest album A Northern Star, A Perfect Stone, which is out now on Epoch Tapes.
