Blending a bit of everything from Frank Zappa to the Rocky Horror Picture Show to Talking Heads to folksy punk and yes, even a dash of Devo, Ford Pier and a cast of dozens wind up in the “hard to classify” file with 65 minutes of musical mayhem this month. And if that seems like a run-on sentence, well that’s kind of how this CD plays. It’s an updated version of a ‘70s theme record, a 2112 for the millennium.
