Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett has announced a new solo album, Lost at Sea, coming October 20 via Blue Élan Records. This is his third solo record after 2019's Hard Lessons.

The album was produced by Jaren Johnston (Cadillac Three) and features esteemed Nashville pickers Tom Bukovac and Charlie Worsham.

"We made a guitar-centric record that encapsulates everything I've been listening to over the years," Shiflett said in a press release. "From the most country songs I've ever recorded to punk rock and even songs that sound like a California version of the Clash."

To coincide with the album release, Shiflett has shared the Southern/ska-style single "Damage Control," along with a music video of compiled fan footage from his UK tour. Watch it below.

Shiflett said about the track: "All the other tunes were written in the months leading up to recording, but when Jaren and I were sorting out which songs to do he mentioned something about the Clash and I remembered this old one I'd demoed about 15 years prior… the musical inspiration on this one was late-stage Clash but we wound up layering it with banjos and what-not. Definitely takes it somewhere else. Ska-mericana?"

"Damage Control" is the third single he's shared from his upcoming album, following "Dead and Gone" and "Black Top White Liners."
