Foo Fighters

Play for the Westboro Baptist Church (live video)

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Sep 19, 2011

As recently reported, Foo Fighters were set to meet with some unwelcome visitors at their Kansas City, MO show on Friday (September 16). Christian fundamentalists from the Westboro Baptist Church threatened to protest the band's concert, and they delivered, but Dave Grohl and co. were there to meet the folks behind Godhatesfags.com.

With Grohl dressed up like gay hillbilly from the Foos' recent "Hot Buns" video, the group played a special show for the Westboro folks from the back of a flatbed truck outside the Spirit Center, giving the church members a little taste of their own medicine by mocking their ultra-conservative views.

TMZ caught some of the set, and you can check it out for yourself below.
