Fonzworth Bentley

"Everybody" (Feat. Kanye West, Andre 3000 and Sa-Ra)

Well, here it is, the long-awaited debut by P Diddy's former bowtie'n'umbrella butler (or P.A., as we tend to call them these days) and now slick R&B dude/MTV star Fonzworth Bentley (or Derek Watkins, to his mama). In the works for a few years, Bentley is the ultimate rags to riches story. I mean, we didn't exactly see Benson or Mr. Belvedere collaborate with Andre 3000 and Kanye did we? (Seriously, did I miss that?)

The album, titled C.O.L.O.U.R.S., which, of course, stands for "Cool Outrageous Lovers of Uniquely Raw Style,” will eventually drop on Kanye's GOOD Music label soon, and this first single is a taste of what's to come. Surprise, surprise, this butler's got talent.

He's also got connections, as Kanye, Andre 3000 and super producers Sa-Ra back him up not just on "Everybody" but also by appearing in full style for the fantastic video (see below). The production is courtesy of Sa-Ra, who lay down a neo-soul jam as hot as Bentley's wardrobe (yeah, I think he's got mad style). Not the best example to prove whether he can actually sing or not, using a speaking voice to deliver his lyrics, he's quickly usurped by the flow of Dre, who, not surprisingly, kills it. Best of all though is 'Ye, who's left in the background to provide theback-up harmonies and a minimal hook on the chorus. A true display of his humility... I think.

Other rumoured guests for the album include Lil Wayne (of course), Esthero and the late Pimp C.
