After sharing their Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost — Part 1 album earlier this year, Foals have shared the details behind the project's second part.
The UK outfit will deliver Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 2 on October 18 through Warner. Ten tracks in length, the album was described by frontman Yannis Philippakis as "a rock record" in comparison to its predecessor, while continuing the narrative of the aforementioned Part 1.
Philippakis expanded on the sound and vision in conversation with NME last month:
Part two is a heavier listen, the guitars are more emphasized and there's some big riffs on it. It's a rock record and it definitely carries on the narrative from part one. Part one ended with a lot of fire and destructive imagery, part two is trying to respond to that: how you can continue in the wreckage and through the scorched earth?
Alongside the announcement, Foals have shared first single "Black Bull," which you can find a Niall O'Brien-directed video for below.
