Flotsam & Jetsam

My God

BY Kevin Stewart-PankoPublished May 1, 2001

The High album three or four years ago renewed faith that the old men may still have some rock in them. Well, the rock has been traded for some magic beans or Pogs or something, because these guys have created a whole lot of irreparable damage to the F&J name with this shoddy collection of third rate thrash, done '90s style for that extra insult to their fans. Everything from the music to the artwork reeks of a lack of effort and an air of going through the motions. When the best song on a metal album is the acoustic Spanish-influenced instrumental outro, you know you're in trouble.
