Flogging Molly

Live at the Greek Theatre

BY Brad SchmalePublished Apr 6, 2010

By making a career out of booze-soaked Celtic punk rock and achieving gold record status with their sophomore full-length, Drunken Lullabies, it's safe to say that Floggy Molly no longer have to worry about playing empty venues. Their infamously energetic live show is once again available on a live CD/DVD package, the second of its kind released since 2006's Whiskey on a Sunday. Shot in Los Angeles, CA at the Greek Theatre on ten Hi-Def cameras, the Mollys put on a performance so intimate you can almost smell the Guinness on vocalist Dave King's breath. Playing a slew of intoxicating gems spanning their entire catalogue, the Irish-blooded songsmiths leave no stone unturned for their loyal fans, who in return raise their pints with gratitude. The camera angles and close-ups are executed swiftly and the intensity is high, as King and his band of rebels fill the entire stadium with their astounding presence. Special features include the entire Floggy Molly music video collection and an in-depth pre-show interview with the band.
