It's been six long years since Fleet Foxes sung us their Helplessness Blues, but the Seattle-based outfit have returned this month with brand new full-length Crack-Up, which you can hear in its entirety right now.
Arriving through Nonesuch, Crack-Up was written entirely by bandleader Robin Pecknold, who also served as co-producer alongside bandmate and childhood friend Skyler Skjelset. The album was previously titled Ylajali after a character from Knut Hamsun's Hunger, before Pecknold changed the title after discovering that Hamsun was a Nazi sympathizer.
Leading up to the record's release, the band shared "Third of May / Ōdaigahara," "Fool's Errand" and "If You Need To, Keep Time on Me." Now, you can take in Crack-Up in its entirety over here, courtesy of NPR.
