Sexy vampire drama True Blood's sixth season starts up June 16 on HBO, but fans can sink their teeth into the latest in a series of star-studded soundtracks a couple of weeks ahead of the big premiere. The latest instalment, True Blood - Music from the HBO Original Series - Volume 4, drops May 28 on CD, digitally and, for the first time, on LP via ATO Records.

As can be expected, Iggy Pop and Best Coast leader Bethany Cosentino's "Let's Boot and Rally, which figured in a Season 5 episode, will be on the collection, though only on the digital edition. It's not the only duet, mind you, as the soundtrack also features Jenny Lewis and Eric Burdon tackling "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood," which Burdon's Animals had issued as a single in 1965.

My Morning Jacket, meanwhile, perform a cover of the Byrds' "Turn Turn Turn," and the Flaming Lips offer up their "Your Face Can Tell the Future." New and exclusive recordings were submitted by Alabama Shakes, the Heavy, Warpaint, Bosco Delrey, Los Lobos, and more. You can see all the details down below.
