This morning was a bit of a whirlwind for Flaming Lips fans, as songs from the band's Ender's Game-inspired EP Peace Sword began emerging online. Now, the entire EP is available to stream.
These songs take a somewhat softer approach than the band's extremely dark last couple albums, with lots of sci-fi string synths and tuneful melodies; that being said, there are some distorted and eerie elements too, not to mention sprawling anti-pop structures.
