Lethbridge/Calgary punks Fist City will soon declare that Everything Is a Mess on their next album. They've already shouted "Fuck Cops," and before the album drops in full they've got another statement in "Hey Little Sister."
The three-minute song offers a reverb-drenched guitar run that's at once surf-indebted and decidedly post-punk. That lays the framework for the propulsive rhythm section and, holding the whole thing together, Kier Griffith's brash, confident vocals.
