Fish Food

"Untitled" (video)

Nineteen-year-old Joseph Kilgour Sims has been making music as Fish Food since he was just 16, and now the lo-fi folk singer is set to unveil a new music video for "Untitled." Exclaim! has got the exclusive premiere of the new clip, which you can see right now.

Sims has spent the last year living in Dawson City, YK, and much of that time has been spent recording new music — often with the help of a 4-track recorder. As he floats across the Canadian landscape, Sims' music continues to shift shape with his surroundings.

The latest musical incarnation comes in the form of "Untitled," which is slated to appear on Fish Food's upcoming self-titled album, due out later this summer. As for the video, it was filmed with fellow Dawson City dweller Max F. Sims and aims to "sexualize the male body in a way that we hadn't seen it treated before."

It was made on a $70 budget and some friendly favours from locals. It's an intimate portrait of the singer and it pairs well with the raw, tender emotion of the lo-fi folk ballad. Watch the video for Fish Food's "Untitled" in the player below.
