Long-running art pop performer Fiona Apple has lent her talents to the opening credits of The Affair, a new Showtime series. Her song is called "Container," and can be sampled now.
The track was produced by Apple's collaborator, Blake Mills.The Affair's executive producer Sarah Treem shared the following statement:
Fiona Apple has been my favorite songwriter since I was sixteen. I am honored and humbled that she has chosen to lend her talent to our opening title sequence. If our show can approach one tenth of the depth and complexity of her song, I'll be very happy.
