Winnipeg indie outfit FINN brings together brothers Dan, John and Matt Baron with friends Mike Dunn and Katlin Mathison, joining forces to craft smart, pop-leaning tunes. Their latest EP Godsend arrived earlier this year, and now "Easy Read" from that record has been treated to a music video.
The clip itself is also a family affair, as it was directed by brothers Christopher and Ryan Mitchell of Bandits Media. It captures the story of a man making his way around the streets of Winnipeg, dropping off cryptic cassettes at venues around town — before taking a baseball bat to his remaining stash of tapes.
That narrative eventually intersects with performance footage of the band, ultimately leaving them surrounded by a messy heap of unwound tape. Watch the stories collide in the video for "Easy Read" below.
The band have a number of Western Canadian tour dates coming up, and you can keep an eye out for full information on the upcoming shows over here.
