Fight

Home Is Where the Hate Is

BY Sam SutherlandPublished Jan 1, 2006

Fat Wreck Chords releases consistently solid punk rock albums. With one of their newest signings, the Fight, Fat has another winner. Kicking things off with the rock solid "Forgotten Generation,” the tone is set for the remainder of this collection of very English melodic punk. Lead singer K8 sings out proudly with her honest, thoroughly accented vocals, and the production, courtesy of Neil Avron (New Found Glory), is top notch; it’s clean, without sounding so clean that it drains the punk rock away from the songs. Taking into consideration that the members of the Fight are all between the ages of 16 and 18, one can’t help but be impressed by this most excellent EP.
